Main Features of PET Straps
POLYESTER STRAP is ranging in standard widths from 5 mm up to 32 mm and thickness from 0.4 mm to 1.2mm with break strength in the range of 200 kg to 1200 kg. and above. We can also supply strap of any other size as per buyer's request.

POLYESTER STRAP has no sharp edges, so product damages are minimized. It will also not rust and stain packs when exposed to moisture.
POLYESTER STRAP performs well under "shock loading". For example, if a pallet using Polyester strap for strapping is dropped during handling or in transit, it takes two and half times the energy to break as steel for straps of comparable break strength. This is because POLY STRAP can "absorb" the sudden forces exerted.
POLYESTER STRAP has slight elasticity and so maintains strap tension by contracting with the pack in the event of pack settlement. Steel straps may become loose use if the pack configuration changes, creating a potential hazard when handling large or heavy materials.
POLYESTER STRAP does not "Whiplash" when removed, thus creating a safer work environment "for users. POLY STRAP does not have sharp edges and so there is no risk of injuries while tensioning or cutting the strapping.
POLYESTER STRAP has "Low Creep" properties, which means that the strap tension will not "relax". Packs can therefore be moved safely even after extended periods of storage or transport.

POLYESTER STRAP can improve productivity being six times lighter than steel for a given length. POLYESTER STRAP consumes less storage space and substantially reduces manual labour.
POLYESTER STRAP is virtually unaffected by weather and harsh environment. It is resistant to ultraviolet rays and holds tension even in extremes of temperature and humidity.
With POLYESTER STRAP, the strap will stay tight, even after the load is compressed during storage, handling and shipping. POLY STRAP has a higher shock reserve than standard grade steel strapping. POLYESTER STRAP is also ideally suited for rigid loads that require strapping tension throughout handling, shipping and storage. POLYESTER STRAP is the best alternative for applications that require high tensile strength, high retained tension and elongation.
